In this blog, I will be talking about one of my favourite foundations. These are a mixture of what I use on myself and what I use in my kit. Firstly, I will be reviewing M.A.C’s Studio Fix Fluid £26. I find my clients either love or hate this product. I personally love this product as it’s matte finish and smooth velvety texture gives a medium to full coverage makes it perfect for an oily to oily-combination skin, (Which I am!)
I like to apply Studio Fix with either, a big fluffy brush such as the Real Techniques Buffing Brush for a quick, smooth flawless finish or the Mac Duo fibre #130 for a more controlled, precise finish.
Studio fix is another favourite of mine because of the extensive shade range that M.A.C provide for it. This enables me as an artist to put trust in the brand and allows me to produce a high quality of work which then allows my clients to make a return booking and go out and buy the product themselves.
The only downfall for me with Studio Fix is that a pump is sold separately, making it more expensive.
